Meet Melissa
With a decade of experience as a practicing attorney, Melissa specializes in Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Elder Law, advocating for individuals and families in need of personalized legal guidance. She graduated with honors from Cleary University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management. She then continued her education at Cooley Law School, where she graduated with honors and earned her Juris Doctor degree.
Her passion for advocating for the elderly and supporting families in these areas began during her time at the Sixty Plus, Inc. Elder Law Clinic in law school. She is also accredited by the Veteran’s Administration, allowing her to assist veterans with claims and appeals.
Before becoming an attorney, Melissa gained extensive experience in business administration and management, with more than 10 years of leadership and operational expertise.
Melissa is a devoted wife and mother of two— a 10-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. With a diverse background in both business and law, and a genuine passion for helping others, she offers compassionate, practical, and thorough legal advice.
Meet Kathy
Born and raised in Michigan, Kathy has lived in the Huron Valley area since 2002. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree and has worked in the administrative and human resource fields for the majority of her career. For the past 8 years her career focus has been assisting families in estate planning. She enjoys the comfort in knowing she is helping clients plan for their future.
Kathy is married with 3 adult sons and a daughter heading off to college. Kathy and her family love to travel. They especially enjoy spending time in Florida and summer weekends in northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. She also enjoys cooking, fitness and college football season.
